Seamlessly fusing electronica with their own distinct anthemic, powerhouse vocals, it’s obvious why Slinkee Minx has already seen great success – firmly cementing their place in the upper echelon of the Australian pop/dance scene and attracting a loyal global following.
Their iconic rework of Summer Rain skyrocketed to the top of major international dance charts including #1 DMC World Chart, #3 UK Dance Chart and #14 Swedish Dance Chart and was released in over 50 countries. Locally it reached #5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, held top position on the ARIA Dance Chart for a staggering 13 weeks and was the highest-selling Australian Dance Single of 2004.
In 2005, Slinkee Minx were invited to perform at one of the largest open-air concerts held in Australia (Adelaide Skyshow) alongside other artists including Guy Sebastian, playing to an estimated audience of over 200,000.
Three more dance hits followed with Closer, Someday and Way of Life smashing their way into mainstream and dance charts across Europe, the UK and Australia.
After touring extensively performing at major clubs, festivals and events Australia wide, the group released their debut album Electric Dreams in 2007, containing 23 pop/house/club anthems over two discs, further showcasing their impressive songwriting and vocal talents.
Working with some of the finest names in electronic music over the past decade, Slinkee Minx has collaborated with the likes of James Ash (Rogue Traders), Paul Brandoli (Spinnin’ Deep, Ministry Of Sound, One Love), Mr. Timothy (Inaya Day, Amba Shepherd), Josh Abrahams (Kylie, Puretone, Gerling), Ivan Gough (TV Rock, L’Tric), Toni Lozanovski (The Noise, Vicious), Marcus Knight (Carl Cox), Mark Rachelle (Madison Avenue) and I Am Sam (Sarah McLeod).
For the last few years, Annemarie and Michelle have been busy co-writing and recording tracks for their new EP as well as collaborating on a number of side music projects with both local and international EDM artists and producers.
